Experience and Reputation
C.R. Kinsman & Associates has been servicing distributor and end user customers in the South Central region of the US since 1976.  Our experienced representatives conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner.  Both Craig Kinsman and Ryan Kinsman are graduates of the esteemed Industrial Distribution Program from Texas A&M University and carry the professional designation of C.P.M.R. – Certified Professional Manufacturer Representative.  We are also active members of the Industrial Supply Association (ISA) and Specialty Tool and Fastener Distributors Association (STAFDA).  From manufacturers, to distributors, to end users, C.R. Kinsman & Associates is recognized as the premier manufacturer representative agency.

Outside Sales Approach
Our outside sales reps spend a great deal of their time in front of our true customer, the end user.  The most effective sales approach includes spending time at the end user specifying products, conducting tests, measuring results, and continually following up so that we may show additional cost savings with actual users of the products we promote.  We constantly work closely with our distributors to penetrate new end user opportunities and support the business before, during, and after the sale.

Inside Sales Support
Our inside sales team is just a phone call or email away.  When our outside reps are in the field, our inside sales group is readily available to field incoming sales calls, inquiries, issues, etc. as well as to proactively promote the products we represent via outbound calls, email blasts, and other marketing initiatives.

Both internally and with the assistance of our manufacturer partners, C.R. Warehousing, Fulfillment, and Logistics
C.R. Kinsman & Associates has a state of the art 23,000 sq. ft. facility in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metrolplex.  Our ability to carry local inventory on behalf of our manufacturers allows our distributors to better manage their inventory while allowing our manufacturers to respond quicker to their customers’ shipping needs. We are equipped to work with a warehouse program that best fits the needs of or manufacturer.

  • Manufacturer Consigned Inventory – CRK will stock manufacturer owned inventory and perform pick, pack, and ship duties to fulfill orders for customers in our selling area as well as in areas outside of our typical selling area.  We are the Texas Warehouse for our manufacturer as well as customer service if needed.  Prompt and accurate communication insures that our manufacturer manages and replenishes our inventory in a timely manner as well as immediately invoices the customer following shipment from the CRK warehouse.
  • C.R. Kinsman Owned Inventory – For our manufacturers that require local inventory but are either unwilling or unable to consign inventory, CRK is the vendor and will “buy-sell” product from our manufacturer and sell only to qualified distributors at standard distributor net pricing.  Typically in this scenario, CRK will service smaller customers who are not able to buy direct from that manufacturer or whose orders do not qualify for order minimum or prepaid freight levels.  We will provide customer sales information to the manufacturer as needed.  This is an excellent way to develop smaller accounts into larger accounts – who ultimately will buy direct from the manufacturer once the business warrants it.

Education and Training
C.R. Kinsman & Associates is a firm believer in ongoing training.  When offered by our manufacturers, our territory reps complete certified professional sales training programs annually.  In addition, other hands on training is regularly offered to our reps, distributors, and end user customers in a variety of settings:

  • Training and Sales Meetings at the CRK Dallas/Ft. Worth Offices
  • Distributor and End User training at the distributor’s facilities
  • End User training “In Plant” at the end users facility
  • CRK Rep, Distributor, End User training at our manufacturer’s facility
  • CRK Rep, Distributor, and End User Web Conference/Online Training

Communication
C.R. Kinsman & Associates is the eyes and ears of our manufacturer in our selling areas.  We continually communicate with our manufacturer partners about territory activity, industry/market trends, competition, service or quality issues, acquisitions and mergers, success stories, lead/quote follow ups, pricing issues, and other information that our manufacturers need to be better equipped to make strategic decisions.  In addition, currently we sit on the panel of several Rep Councils and Strategy Groups.  We firmly believe that regular communication is crucial to our success.
